NCA Police Dog Malcolm, a Proactive Search Dog trained to locate Drug, Firearms and Cash, died suddenly in service with heart related issues.
Malcom started his career in Staffordshire Police on 29th November 2014, transferring to the NCA with his handler 5th November 2019 until he passed away.
During Malcom’s service he recovered substantial amounts of drugs, cash and countless firearms.
Malcolm will be sorely missed by his handler, his family and his wider NCA family.

Lex was originally bred and trained by West Midlands Police, he transferred to the NCA, via the Metropolitan Police.
Since joining NCA Lex worked tirelessly across the United Kingdom, assisting on operations across the many diverse NCA Commands.
Lex’s role within the NCA involved apprehending suspects, protecting officers and recovering vital evidence, he also played a pivotal role in ensuring a high standard of service to our law enforcement partners including Forces, UK Border force and the Prison Service.
Lex’s last deployment was the week before he passed away, when he assisted Hertfordshire Police in apprehending one of their most wanted.
