Funding

It is clear that a national campaign will be needed to raise awareness of the plans and to raise funds for it. We are currently actively looking for donors and sponsors who share the appreciation for what our dogs do for the Police Service in the UK and whom in return will get a notable mention on the K9 Memorial website and any printed publicity material.

We are also looking into officers themselves being able to individually sponsor to honour the memory of their brave dogs who lost their lives in the line of duty. The feedback so far has been amazing, many handlers feel it would be highly time and suitable to give dogs a national place to be remembered for their service.

The plans for the K9 Memorial have been featured in Dogs Today Magazine, one of the biggest UK dog magazines.
